    ⑴識別音素很重要。語言坦念信息的表達(dá)是信銷通過元音和輔音字母有規(guī)律的組合來實現(xiàn)的。

    如元音字母“a”在不同的組合中有多種發(fā)音:bake/ei/,bad/ /,bald/ :/,radar/a:/,data/。而一個輔音音素可以有多種輔音字母的組合,如/f/:leaf,laugh,philosophy等。

    如果說閱讀是憑借字母的組合形式去判斷詞義的話,那么聽力則主要依*聲音去確定詞的意思。因此,元音的長、短,輔音的清濁,都對判斷有直接影響。

    聽力測試第一部分除了檢測考生對各類英語句子結(jié)構(gòu)的理解能力之外,還檢測考生的音素識別能力。在每道單句聽力試題的四個選項中都設(shè)置滑信游一種與原文某些關(guān)鍵詞在發(fā)音上相同或相近的“混淆音”。

    例:“Our club meets every other Wednesday.”

    A.We meet once every two weeks.

    B.We met for an hour.

    C.They asked me and several others.

    D.They love to fly on windy days.

    A是答案;B中的“hour”與“our”發(fā)音相同;C中的“several others”與“everyother”發(fā)音相近;D中的“windy days”是為了混淆“Wednesday”的。

    培養(yǎng)學(xué)生較強的音素識別能力有助于在聽力測試中迅速捕捉關(guān)鍵詞的發(fā)音,從而在選擇時排除同、近音詞的干擾,選出正確答案。

    ⑵連讀與辨音。

    了解連讀的一些基本規(guī)律,有利于聽力測試中抓“準(zhǔn)”詞句,準(zhǔn)確理解。助動詞縮略式連讀在聽力中最普遍,熟悉這種連讀對于正確判斷試題的語氣和時態(tài)十分有用。

    例:“If it hadn't rained, we would've played tennis.”

    并列連詞“or”與其前后的單詞連讀時,聽起來好似/r/。

    例“OK, but hurry or we'll miss the bus.”
