1、House(浩室)是當代EDM(電子舞曲)的基礎形式，是時下傳播最廣的電子音樂類型之一。
它既保留傳統電音Disco中強烈的律動感，又加入了Jazz(爵士)，Rap(說唱)，黑人藍調等音樂形態，組合成了形式豐富的House舞曲。
近幾年最流行的分支有Tropical House和Deep House，前者聽起來熱力四射，讓人仿佛置身于夏威夷的海灘；后者突出的低頻，將舞曲勾勒出性感的線條，入耳難忘。
2、Techno(高科技舞曲)一詞源自“Technology”。顧名思義，Techno常以電腦，合成器做出特殊音效，組合而成。
編曲上呈現重復性、機械性的特點。因為旋律偏生硬，所以Techno音樂相比其他電音類型更小眾，顯得更加獨特，常常與時尚聯系在一起。
